Lyes Msab is a London based photographer who is fascinated by observing street life. For the last decade, he has used photography to document people and their behaviour in public places. During this time he has also completed a degree in psychology and his studies have enriched his observations. His work displays a remarkable ability to perceive and capture a decisive moment without distracting his subjects who reveal emotions such as joy, sadness and solitude as well as public displays of affection between lovers or parents and children.
Extensive travels have allowed him to explore other cultures. Recently he has produced a body of more abstract ‘artistic’ work, perhaps a result of his favourite pastime of visiting museums and art galleries.
